This project is a history of the collector's grandmother, Carol Maree James Bowen. The analysis discusses some key aspects of Carol's life including her childhood in the Great Depression, farm life, her family and church service, and relates it all to the American dream and typical American values. A brief view of quilts / Sandra Yocom, 2006 April 18
Yocom discusses the history of quilts starting with the earliest known examples and tracing their lineage through modern quilting. She then goes on to describe different quilting processes and different types of quilts as well. Finally, she includes poems relating to quilts and pictures of various types of quilts, as well as collection photographs of work she has collected and documented. Created by Sandra Yocom when she enrolled in Eric Eliason's English 391 class in winter 2006.
